Seattle Camellia renovation

We started with a mature camellia that overwhelmed the house.

Philip removed many lower limbs and dead wood to give it a  tree-like  shape.

The camellia was dense and blocked the sidewalk.

The sidewalk is now accessable.

Light and air can now circulate between the camellia and the house.

We LOVE what you all did.  One of the benefits is more light in the little room off the dining room.  And from the house the camellia looks sculptural. “

One Response to Seattle Camellia renovation

  1. The pruning of trees from the home not only prevents future maintenance issues but keeps critters away from the structure as well. But it makes this cute craftman home look much better!
