Pruning a weeping cherry


Trees with a ‘weeping’ form often have their weeping branches cut much shorter in an attempt to keep them smaller.  This actually makes the tree denser which is what happened to this weeping cherry.

 
Dave pruned the tree to make it more open, airy and healthy.
